(RGC) is an all-singing, all-dancing mixed voice youth show choir that performs throughout the GTA. Overseen by President and Founder George Randolph, young singers and dancers rehearse once a week for two hours with a professional music director and choreographers, whose credits include productions with Mirvish and Dancap.
Throughout the 21-week program, participants create performance-ready songs with a focus on pop music with dance routines while learning essential life skills like teamwork, cooperation, and engaging in physical activity. In 2010-2011, RGC performed at the Woodbine Fantasy Fair, Claremont Retirement Residence, Show Choir Canada National Championships, and at the Randolph Academy Kids Program Showcase.
Participation is determined by audition, and limited to participants aged 12—17.
AUDITIONS
November 28, 2011
5:15 p.m. - Arrival and sign in.
5:30-6:30 p.m. - Group dance call
6:30-9:30 p.m. - Individual 5-minute slots will be assigned per person for the vocal audition.
Attire: jazz shoes, black jazz pants and any t shirt.
Music requirement: 1 pop song no longer than 3 minutes (and 1 contrasting pop song as a backup - may be asked to sing another). Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key.

REHEARSALS
In 2011, Randolph Glee Choir will meet Wednesdays, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. starting January 11, 2012 and ending May 23, 2012.
PERFORMANCESPublic performances will be announced at a later date.
RGC will perform at the Triple Threat Showcase on June 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; mandatory dress rehearsal May 31, 5-8:45 p.m.
FEESThere is no fee to audition for Randolph Glee Choir, but if cast, fees are as follows: 695 plus a non-refundable $75 costume fee
POLICIESNo registration will be accepted without payment included.
Any withdrawals must be submitted in writing.
Refunds are available for withdrawals before January 15, 2012; a $25 administration fee will be deducted, as well as a per class fee deduction.
No refunds will be given after January 15, 2012.
